The end of October marks the beginning of winter, a long, harsh period that often brings death and despair. Yet across different cultures, people use this opportunity to gather and feast together, pay tribute to their ancestors, and celebrate the lavish harvest that autumn has brought. In those celebrations, people often dress up, sometimes with masks and costumes, as if those outfits bring them new strength and prepare them for the challenges of the coming time. This celebration has been called in many names: “Day of the Dead”, “All Saints’ Day”, and “All Souls’ Day”. Let’s return to the true origin of Halloween, make your utopia outfit that honors who you are and your ancestry, and celebrate this wonderful day together, with shared food, games, and music!

Come dressed as your Utopia Self! Don’t wear a mask that you can hide under; wear an outfit that celebrates who you are!
If you need help, please come earlier to the Create Your Utopia Self workshop in the afternoon. We would love to assist you in making an amazing outfit!
