The series "The End of Words" explores the intensity of human emotions, the desire to connect and to be heard, and the limitation of our ability to reach out and truly bond with others with full emotional honesty. However hard we try, in tears or in anger, with pleas or flattery, we eventually come to the point of breaking when the conversation ends. We stare at the beloved's face, look at it for the last time with any sense of ownership, hoping that there will be one last magic sentence that will save us all, yet it never comes.

A series of 9 paintings with close-ups of human faces, as if the viewers are staring into someone's mouth at a frozen moment during an intense conversation. What is he/she going to say? Will it be something I was waiting for the whole time? Yet nothing is coming out, and the words are left unsaid. This is the end already, before you even realize it. Intense colous and different techniques are applied to each painting, to amplify the emotions each painting represents, and all wind-whirled into the void of silence in the middle.

Series - The Aching Heart Divination

An ongoing project of creating a divination desk based on the Rider-Waite Tarot desk, woven in with my own life experience and inspirations.  

Each paintings contains a series of 10 originals, with the same basic concept and design but variations big and small made anew and by my own hands.
